We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who can become an integral member of our accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing payables for multiple business units and locations.
  • Partnering with the management team to ensure expenses are submitted through the proper channels in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Following purchase order and non-purchase order invoices from coding through processing, approval, and payment
  • Accurately entering and processing payment information into ABC Imaging’s enterprise system.
  • Communicating effectively with vendors regarding payments, terms and issue resolution.
  • Using vendors' electronic import files to input large volume invoices.
  • Printing and distributing checks twice weekly and maintaining check printing supplies.
  • Reconciling credit card transactions.
  • Preparing 1099s, ensuring proper filing with IRS.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in high volume, full-service accounts payable environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area or relevant experience
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of purchase order matching process preferred
  • Highly developed organizational ability, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks without losing focus
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with shop managers, employees and vendors to clarify procedures and processes
