POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides administrative support for the development, coordination and maintenance of the Records & Information Management (RIM) program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, managing correspondence, proofreading, coordinating events, and tracking key RIM activities.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets which help to report the status of projects and the overall RIM program.
  • Assist with developing RIM procedures and processes.
  • Coordinate all records storage and retrieval requests to an on-site archive or off-site commercial records center.
  • Oversee all communications with employees regarding records storage boxes eligible for destruction.
  • Manage employee offboarding communications regarding records management, including follow-ups and tracking compliance.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • College degree or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in an administrative field or in a related area
  • Attention to detail of work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects without losing focus.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experienced using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • This position requires the use of standard office equipment
  • This position may require moderate lifting of less than forty (40) pounds
